Print / Copying / Scanning at the Hopkins Bloomberg Center in D.C.

These instructions are specific to the Hopkins Bloomberg Center at 555 Pennsylvania NW in DC. For Homewood, see Printing at the Libraries for more information.

The first time you print from a mobile device / laptop, you must do a quick setup:

  • Connect to the “Hopkins” wireless network and send an email to jhubwmobile@jh.edu
  • Follow directions in email response: “Click to register your email address”
  • Login with your JHED ID only (sample: jsmith455) and password
  • You'll be redirected to the Web Release Page – CLOSE THIS PAGE

You're now set up for mobile printing!

For printing, confirm that your device is on the “Hopkins” wireless network, and send your document (PDF or MS Word/ Excel) as an email attachment (one attachment per email) to one of the following printing options:

jhubwmobile@jhu.edu (black/white single-sided)
jhubwdsmobile@jhu.edu (black/white double-sided)
jhucolormobile@jhu.edu (color single-sided)
jhucolordsmobile@jhu.edu (color double-sided)

In the queue, your print job is shown with the name of the file. Print jobs will be held in the queue for 2 hrs.

Printing and Copying Costs

  • Black-and-white page (single- or double-sided): .07 cents
  • Color page (double-sided):  .40 cents (.20 cents per side)
  • Scan to email options are free
