Q. I am a retired JHU faculty member. Why can't I access the databases?
Retired JHU faculty should be able to access the library's electronic resources.
If you are not able to do that:
- Please check with your department admin or HR to make sure that you are in SAP with a 'Retiree' affiliation under the 'Faculty Program' department. Your department admin or HR should be able to make sure all of the settings in SAP are correct so that you will be automatically imported into the library patron database.
- Once the changes in SAP are made, it can take up to 24 hours for you to have access.
- If your department admin or HR isn't able to help, contact central IT at 410-516-HELP.
Staff: The university's policy is that retired JHU staff retain JHED access for 90 days after their last day.
