Access to Johns Hopkins resources via Google Scholar

Answer

When you know of a specific article you need, but aren't sure if Johns Hopkins has access to it, you have a few options:

1. You can type / cut and paste the title in Catalyst, the JH Libraries catalog.

2. You can also use Google Scholar settings:

  1. Go to the Scholar Settings page and type Johns Hopkins in the "library links" field. Check the boxes next to the results and click Save.

  2. Then you are ready to search for your title Scholar.

  3. When you find what you're looking for on the results screen, click the "Find It @ JH Libraries" link. Sometimes it's visible on the right side of the results, next to the particular citation and sometimes it is hidden beneath a >> symbol below the citation.

  4. Find It allows you to avoid a "paywall" and login with your JHED ID to access the full text of the article.
