Visiting Scholars

  • Visiting scholars must speak with their sponsoring academic department or program to start this process
  • Visiting scholars will need a JHED and a role of faculty, staff, or student. Most visiting appointments run into problems when admins assign the role of Friend or General, so please stick to faculty, friend, or staff
  • Once they are added to JHED and given a Jcard, they will have borrowing privileges according to the status assigned by their sponsoring department.
  • Please send any questions to your academic liaison or to circmail@jhu.libanswers.com.
