Can I request material from the Peabody Library?
Answer
Items at the Peabody Library are non-requestable. Patrons are encouraged to use the campus shuttle to visit the items in person. In rare cases, if the patron cannot go to the Peabody and if the condition of the Peabody item permits it, then items can be brought to Eisenhower to be viewed in Special Collections. There is one weekly delivery so requests need to be made no later than Thursday afternoon for Friday delivery, available for viewing on Monday in Special Collections. Requests should be made to peabodylibrary@jhu.edu or 410-234-4943.
