Answer

The Peabody Library is open for visitors Tuesday through Thursday from 9-5 and on Friday from 9-3; it is closed on Monday and during the weekend.  The Peabody Library is just a short drive from the Homewood Campus and can be easily reached via the Homewood-JHMI shuttle.  It is always best to contact Peabody staff in advance of your visit so your material will be ready upon your arrival.  All the books at the Peabody Library are cataloged and can be searched in our library catalog. Books housed at the Peabody do not circulate and must be used in the designated reading area.

You are allowed to use a digital camera to take images of books at the Peabody Library for research-purposes only.  If you need an image for publication, please talk to staff.
